  • 1/3 cup rice flour
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1.5 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice apple vinegar
  • 12 tbsp Sriracha sauce
  • 1-inch fresh ginger, minced
  • 45 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • Honey or maple syrup for sweetness

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together rice flour, cornstarch, and water until a smooth batter forms.
  3. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter until evenly coated and place them on the baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Meanwhile, mix sesame oil, soy sauce, rice apple vinegar, Sriracha, ginger, garlic, honey/maple syrup, cornstarch, and water in another bowl to create the sauce.
  6. Once baked, drizzle the sauce over the cauliflower and toss gently to coat.
  7. Serve garnished with sesame seeds and sliced spring onions.
