  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 carton (32 oz) chicken broth
  • 1 can (15 oz) Great Northern beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup ditalini pasta
  • Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add ground beef and brown for 3–5 minutes; drain any excess fat.
  2. Add carrots, onion, celery, and garlic to the pot; sauté for about 4 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in the cooked beef along with diced tomatoes and tomato sauce until mixed well.
  4. Incorporate beans and chicken broth; simmer for about 10 minutes to blend flavors.
  5. Add ditalini pasta and Italian seasoning; cook for another 10 minutes until pasta is tender.
