  • 2 pounds ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup beef broth or milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 23 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2/3 cup ketchup or BBQ sauce
  • 23 tablespoons light brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet or loaf pan with foil, lightly spraying it with non-stick spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef (or turkey), panko breadcrumbs, beef broth (or milk), whisked eggs, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf on the prepared baking sheet or press into the loaf pan.
  4. For the glaze, mix together ketchup (or BBQ sauce) and brown sugar in a small bowl. Pour this over the meatloaf.
  5. Bake for about 45 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). Allow to rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
