  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 4 slices cooked turkey bacon
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ¾ teaspoon dried chives
  • ¾ teaspoon dried dill weed
  • ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Blanch broccoli in boiling water for 5 minutes; rinse with cold water and drain.
  3. Place blanched broccoli in a greased casserole dish.
  4. Season chicken with garlic, parsley, chives, dill weed, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  5. Sauté seasoned chicken in olive oil until fully cooked.
  6. Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional 30 seconds.
  7. Combine chicken with broccoli in the casserole dish.
  8. In the same skillet, add heavy cream and whisk until thickened; mix in cheeses until melted.
  9. Pour cheese sauce over chicken and broccoli; toss gently.
  10. Top with remaining cheddar cheese, crumbled turkey bacon, and Parmesan cheese.
  11. Bake for 20 minutes or until bubbly.
