  • 6 tbsp olive oil, divided
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 avocado
  • Juice of ½ lime
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 big garlic cloves, cut into slivers
  • ¾ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the baguette into ½ inch thick pieces and arrange them on the baking sheet.
  3. Mix garlic powder with olive oil and brush onto both sides of each baguette slice.
  4. Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden and crisp.
  5. Prepare the avocado spread by mashing avocado with lime juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  6. In a skillet, heat olive oil and cook garlic slivers until fragrant; add seasoned shrimp and cook until pink.
  7. Assemble by spreading avocado on each crostini and topping with shrimp.
