Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, beat together cubed butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and extracts; mix well.
  3. In another bowl, combine baking powder and flour; gradually add to wet mixture until dough forms.
  4. Roll out the dough to about ¼ inch thick and cut into desired shapes. Place on parchment-lined baking sheets.
  5. Bake for about 10 minutes until lightly golden around edges.
  6. For frosting, beat butter and cream cheese until smooth; gradually add powdered sugar and mix in vanilla.
