Crustless Taco Pie is a delightful twist on traditional tacos, offering a quick and satisfying meal for busy weeknights. This keto-friendly dish combines savory ground beef with creamy eggs and melty cheese, creating a hearty pie that’s both low in carbs and gluten-free.

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 3 T taco seasoning
  • 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup chunky salsa
  • 1 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9-inch pie pan.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked; drain excess grease.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and transfer the mixture to the greased pie pan.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together heavy cream and eggs; add salsa, 1 cup of cheese, garlic salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the beef in the pie pan and top with remaining cheese.
  6. Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes until golden brown on top and set in the center.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
