  • 14 ounces diced tomatoes (with juices)
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 18 ounces refrigerated cheese tortellini
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream (optional)
  • 2 cups fresh baby spinach
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Sauté the chicken sausage and onions in a skillet over medium heat for about 7-8 minutes until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add minced garlic to the skillet for an additional 30 seconds before transferring the mixture to your crockpot.
  3. In the crockpot, combine the sautéed ingredients with carrots, celery, crushed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, and chicken broth.
