  • 2 lbs ground beef (or sausage)
  • 2 8-ounce packages of cream cheese
  • 2 10-ounce cans of Rotel
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon adobo seasoning or taco seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons ancho chili powder

Instructions

  1. Brown the meat in a skillet over medium heat, seasoning with half of the adobo or taco seasoning.
  2. In a crock pot, combine cream cheese, Rotel, and remaining seasoning.
  3. Drain grease from the meat and transfer it to the crock pot. Stir well.
  4. Pour chicken broth over the mixture.
  5. Cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
  6. Stir in cilantro before serving and garnish with shredded cheese if desired.
