  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • ½ cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • ½ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Large Egg
  • ¼ cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Onion Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Prepare corn by draining canned corn or thawing frozen corn and patting it dry.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk the egg lightly.
  3. Add flour, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the bowl.
  4. Incorporate the corn into the mixture until well combined.
  5. Form small balls or discs from the mixture (about 20-25 bites).
  6. For frying: Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan until hot (350-375°F). Fry each bite for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. For baking: Preheat oven to 400°F and bake bites on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
