  • 1 ¾ cups whole-wheat pastry flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda

  • ½ cup coconut sugar
  • ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 3 Tablespoons melted coconut oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tablespoon melted coconut oil for coating
  • ½ cup organic cane sugar for coating
  • ½ Tablespoon cinnamon for coating

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together whole-wheat pastry flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and sea salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together apple cider, applesauce, coconut sugar, Greek yogurt, melted coconut oil, and the egg until smooth.
  4. Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients; stir gently until just mixed.
  5. Spray two (6-cavity) donut pans with cooking spray and fill each cavity with batter.
  6. Bake for 6-8 minutes until donuts spring back when pressed.
  7. Cool for a few minutes before inverting onto a wire rack.
  8. Brush cooled donuts with melted coconut oil and coat in a mixture of organic cane sugar and cinnamon.
