  • 2 green apples
  • 6 tbsp honey
  • 6 tsp chopped pistachios
  • 6 round puff pastry sheets
  • 1 egg yolk (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. On the prepared tray, place 1 tablespoon of honey and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of chopped pistachios. Layer thinly sliced apple over the top.
  3. Cover the filling with a puff pastry sheet, pressing down on the edges to seal.
  4. Brush the top of the pastry with egg yolk for a golden finish.
  5. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar and serving.
