  • ½ teaspoon baking soda

  • ¼ cup melted butter (for coating)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring apple cider to a boil; reduce heat and simmer until reduced by half (about 20-30 minutes). Let cool.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×5 loaf pan.
  3. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Beat in egg and vanilla until well combined.
  5. Stir in reduced apple cider and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  6. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for about 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan for about 15 minutes before transferring to a rack.
  8. Brush cooled bread with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
